2017 Schedule of Events

All Week:

  • Buffalo Farm Corn Maze and Raffle House Points Scavenger Hunt: Participating Boro Merchants Butterbeer and Potter pasties at Flip Café Several showings of Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, EU, Pogue Cinema

Saturday, Sept 23

    Each session is approximately 2 hours in length

    MORNING: 9:30am registration (classes begin promptly at 10am 

    AFTERNOON: 1pm registration (classes begin promptly at 1:30pm

    Admission is free but on a first come first serve basis so wise wizards are encouraged to arrive at the start of registration times. Children must be accompanied by an adult. School robes are not required but certainly encouraged!

  • Defense Against the Dark Arts by Kent Hogwarts, 1-5 pm, EU Pogue Center, MPR

Monday, Sept 25

  • Joey Laythe Potterbowl (HP trivia contest), 7-9:30, EU Pogue Center, MPR

Tuesday, Sept 26

  • All About Owls by Tamarak, Edinboro Public Library, 5:30-6:30 HP movie music, EU Symphonic Wind Ensemble, EU Cole, 7:30-8:30

Wednesday, Sept 27

  • "Magical Farmers Market"-Craft vendors with magical-themed hand-made goods, 3-6, and The Real Magic Steve, 4-5:30, Goodell Gardens Featured Speaker: John Granger, EU Pogue Center, Room 143, 8 pm

Thursday, Sept 28

  • HP-Fantastic Beasts Cosplay March from EU Centennial Hall to downtown Borowarts, 5 pm Just show up in costume and join us

Friday, Sept 29

  • Harry Potter Educators Workshop by James Howell, EU Butterfield Hall Potter 7.0 (original) Parody Play, EU Cole, 7:30 pm

Saturday, Sept 30

  • Quidditch play, EU campus, grass near Centennial Hall, 11 am Potter 7.0 (original) Parody Play, EU Cole, 7:30 pm

Sunday, Oct 1

  • House Points Scavenger Hunt awards Drawing for the Corn Maze Raffle prize at the Wooden Nickel Buffalo Farm
