Edinboro Potterfest 2016: September 17-24

Corn maze all week at the Wooden Nickel Buffalo Farm ($7 Game Maze General Admission: Ages 4 and under – free, Ages 5 – 54: $7; Seniors Age 55+: $5) Butterbeer, cauldron cakes, and snitch-on-a stick at Flip Café Secret Message Raffle organized by Shannon at Earthshine Specials at participating Boro businesses

Saturday, September 17

  • Day at the Castle, morning & afternoon session, Pogue Center, 3rd floor, EU campus
    • Morning Registration 9:30am (classes 10-noon)
    • Afternoon Registration 1pm (classes 1:30-3:30)
  • Kidscraft and butterbeer at Scotland Yards (west of town on Fry Rd)

Sunday, Sept 18

  • Joey Laythe Wizard Scrabble Tourney, 1-5 pm, Pogue Center, MPR, EU campus

Monday, Sept 19

  • Harry Potter story time, 10 am, Edinboro Public Library
  • Balloon Magic, The Real Magic Steve, 4:45-6:45, including a 30 min. magic show, beginning at 5:30, Edinboro Public Library
  • Potterbowl Trivia, 7-9 pm, Pogue Center, MPR, EU campus

Tuesday, Sept 20

  • Harry Potter zoo animals’ visit, 6-6:45, presented by the Erie Zoo. Edinboro Public Library. (Only 35 children can sign up for the zoo presentation, ages 2 and up.  Sign up by calling 451-7081)
  • HP movie music, EU symphonic wind ensemble, 7:30-8:30 pm, Cole Auditorium EU campus

Wednesday, Sept 21

  • Balloon Magic, The Real Magic Steve, 4-6 pm, Goodell Gardens Farmers’ Market
  • Edinboro Potterfest Featured Speaker: “Harry Potter and the Promise of Sociology,” Dr Jennifer Sims, 8 pm, Pogue 143, EU Campus
  • Wand making (1 hr) Workshop: 2 sessions ($15 per person) 5 & 6 pm, Olivanders at the 104 Gallery, next to Flip Café, Edinboro

Thursday, Sept 22
